This is one of the long-time East Indian restaurants in Calgary, and still serves well-prepared Kashmiri food in a friendly, family atmosphere. But with the changing foodscape in Calgary, we feel that Moti Mahal has not aged well. Deeper and, at times, spicier flavours have come to the fore in many other establishments in the city, making some of the selections here seem rather tame and dated. The food is still good, but needs some literal spicing up to keep pace with the competition.
