When you enter Brick Lane, you will find yourself surrounded by a host of Bengali restaurants. We have our favourites, but The Monsoon is the one we return to on just about every visit to London. Yes, every restaurant on Brick Lane has an award of one kind or another posted on its sign, but this one really does deserve it, for the food, for the service, and for the overall atmosphere. And by the way, if you are googling for more information, make sure you include the "The" with the name. There is another restaurant in the city called simply "Monsoon".
