Sometimes, even after years of restaurant reviewing, you can still be surprised. Costa Vida is a fast food Mexican restaurant. That idea alone tends to nurture images of warming trays filled with soggy tortillas and bins of generic, over–salted slop. However Costa Vida specializes in fresh, wholesome dishes served with in–house made wrappings put together and heated as you watch. The menu is not large, but ample, and the proportions are large and pleasantly filling. And the cost is quite reasonable. Note: Our only complaint was that the heater could have been set at a slightly higher temperature, so maybe asked for your dish to be double toasted.
