We enjoyed our meal! The setting is modern and simple, with just the right touch of colour and arches to give one a Mexican feel. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. And the food had some highlights like the opening guacamole—simple but tasty—the side dish tortillas, and a surprisingly large portion of finely cooked lamb. And now the “however”. However, the high points were weighed down by some ordinary fare that even fancy plating couldn’t make excellent. The lamb, for example, came with far too much broth even for the tortillas to mop up. And yes, there was a delicious mint salad included, but not enough to make eating the lamb become boring. For the price, it was a good meal, but some subtle extras would have made it excellent.
And yes, they are open for breakfast. We think we may give that a try.
