This is yet another of the growing community of wood–lined trendy pubs that are springing up across the country. But don't hold that against them. The dishes are the classics, but with a real Canadian twist—traditional Québec poutine, lots of maple syrup, bacon, and local AAA beef; with names like “true north cobb salad" and “cajun chicken sandwich" thrown in for extra flavour. And the flavour is there, with good, fresh ingredients and some fine in–house beers. This isn't fancy, but classic, tasty, and filling—rather Canadian.
