When we first arrived in Calgary in 1977, Hy’s was one of the places to be at lunch in the downtown area. Then it disappeared, only to return in 2015, having left children in Whistler, Winnipeg, Vancouver and Toronto. But throughout it all, the quality of the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant have remained. This is a destination steakhouse for that special event or meeting. And yes, their cheese toast and caesar salad are still on the menu.
