This is where you bring your out of town relatives for the atmosphere and the view. But it will definitely be remembered for the hospitality and the food. And they even have rooms to allow you to spend the night and enjoy breakfast for an added treat. As with all great restaurants, the cuisine here is the centre of the experience, Every dish is excellent. And the staff work as a team to make your time spent in Longview perfect: Noticing when you have extra sauce on your plate, they appear with more bread. Noting that your cup is empty, they come with more coffee. And we have found that they even remember likes and preferences from past meals. And all of this is done quietly without unnecessary disruption or pretension. Yes, this is indeed an hour outside of Calgary in the foothills, and thus the question becomes whether or not the experience is worth the drive. The answer is a definite yes!
