If the word "Pannenkoek" doesn't ring a bell in your mind, think of “pancake". Then throw out that idea, as Dutch pancakes bear little resemblance to the tiny sweet things we enjoy for breakfast. They're large and thin and covered with goodies like potatoes and onions and bacon and cheese, or for dessert ice cream and toppings. We're talking somewhere between a crêpe and a thin crust pizza, but different. Anyway they're good and economical, so how could you go wrong? Good vegetarian selection.
