You see, once upon a time, the city decided to ban sweets, so an illicit market for these forbidden delights grew up and a thriving underground business arose to supply them. So high in the top of the building the secret cookie kitchen was created.
Secret cookie storage bins were constructed on the roof, and hidden chutes took the precious items through the barber shop and out into the poolhall itself.
The only person who didn’t seem to know about the arrangement was Ace Brickman, the private detective who was supposedly looking for the bootleggers. He, however was too infatuated with his beautifiul girlfriend to take his job too seriously.
