Lunch Buffet:
SAIT houses one of the world's great schools for chefs as shown by the number of culinary Olympic medals our cooking teams have won. The Highwood gives these students a change to show their strength. The buffet is one of the largest we have seen. Some of the dishes do try to hard to be new and different, but the overall impression is one of elegance and good taste.

Good vegetarian selection.

Dinner:
As with the noon buffet, we found the food here to be of excellent quality, served in a quiet, pleasant setting. But also, as with the midday repast, we came to realize that the inexperience of the servers was at time a little more than expected, and the dishes, while good, lacked anything exceptional. We would put this down as an “experience” meal, something to be pursued for the pleasure of seeing future chefs and servers in action, but with the expectation that this might not the be most polished meal you have ever had.
